Antiwar and Peace Posters

Deluxe picket sign: Print A2 size in color or grayscale. A copy shop with a wide format plotter can do this for you--color could be expensive, as much as $20, but black and white shouldn't be more than about $2.50. Or print smaller, 11x17 color zerox ($2-3). Laminate with 3 mil plastic, about $2-3. Attach to 18x24 foamcore (about $2) with velcro (this makes it easy to change signs if you need to.) Screw foamcore to a 4 ft. length of furring strip (.50) with 3/4 inch #6 wood screws and finishing washers.
Cheaper: Print it yourself, you may have software that allows you to "tile" a print so that the file prints out on several letter-size sheets. Or have your print enlarged at a copy shop. Staple corrugated cardboard to lath or furring strip, adhere print with spray adhesive. Spray with fixative to make it more weather-resistant.
